Who is BagsAway?
BagsAway is the luggage storage of the Future! We are on a mission to improve the travel exprience, providing the convenience of secure short-term storage for your travel items. We partner with local busineesses and storefronts to create a network of convenient, low-cost and secure luggage storage locations on demand! The luggage storage service solutions offered by BagsAway were born as an answer to a recurring problem we experienced ourselves as travelers - precious time wasted on organizing logistics around luggage drop-off/pick-up or sourcing out storage options all over the city was not only an inconvenience but a genuine frustration, often leaving us lugging around our suitcases. We were literally left shackled to luggage in our last precious moments in a dream destination, not to mention when trying to make a professional impression heading straight to a conference or a business meeting. As one might expect BagsAway is driven by a passion for travel, which is what inspired the concept because "there had to be a better way", and now there is! We launched our services in Toronto in 2016 and have since serviced thousands of international travelers to rave reviews! We are on a mission to improve the travel experience so that travelers can make the most of their trip, particularly on the first or last day of travel. How do I book my luggage storage?
Book quickly and seamlessly: Enter a city or address, choose the dates/times and the number of items you wish to store Choose an available storage partner location from the map (highlighted in blue) Click on the "Book Now" button and enter your payment details to finalize your booking Viola! Your reservation is confirmed! You will receive an automated booking confirmation email. Drop off your bags for safekeeping and enjoy your day luggage free!
Can I cancel my order? Do I get charged cancellation fees?
We understand travel plans can change on a whim so don’t fret! You can cancel your luggage storage booking any-time before your drop off. You will not incur any penalties or be charged any fees! In the event you choose to cancel your booking your card with be refunded the total booking amount
What type of items can I store?
Whatever your storage needs are we got you covered! We accept travel luggage/bags, strollers, sports equipment (ski, golf, snowboard, skates, etc), bicycles, boxes, keys, coats and more!
Are there size and weight restrictions?
We accept all shapes and sizes, if it fits throught the door, it goes. Come one, come all!
Is there a limit to the number of storage items I can deposit?
Each BagsAway Storage Partner indicates the maximum item capacity available on location. Unlike locker facilities our partner spaces are flexible to accept all luggage types, shapes and sizes. As long as the number of items dropped off doesn’t exceed the number of items reserved on your booking you should have no issue!
Can I pay for the luggage storage on location?
No, partner locations do not acept payment on location. Each luggage storage booking must be made through the website BagsAway.ca to make sure you are covered by the BagsAway insurance policy. Trying to pay in cash directly to the partner location may put your personal belongings at risk.
How far in advance do I need to book? Can I book my storage same-day?
We suggest you book your luggage storage in advance to secure your space at the partner location. However, you can book on-demand, any-time! Convenience and flexibility guaranteed. Remember, if your plans change you can cancel your reservation with no penalty!
Can I view my previous bookings?
You can view all your booking history under your profile upon signing up and logging into your BagsAway profile using the login credentials you created when signing up on our website.

How do I know that my bags will be stored safely?
Each luggage item is individually secured with a tamper-proof seal with a unique serial number assuring your belongings are never accessed. Upon booking your luggage storage you will receive an automated receipt via email with a system generated booking number. A branded Bags Away tag with the booking number will be attached to each item as an additional security measure to ensure the correct items are returned to you. You will be required to present the email receipt upon picking up your items at the partner location. Our storage partners are carefully instructed to store all luggage items away from public access so leave your luggage and your concerns behind!
What happens if something gets damaged or lost?
We got you covered! Our insurance coverage covers your booking for any damage, loss or theft. To ensure the validity of the insurance coverage you must ensure to book your storage online via the BagsAway site. All transactions are cashless, never pay cash in person with a storage partner
How do I get charged for the service and when?
Your card gets changed as soon as you create your online booking. In the event your plans change and you choose to cancel your booking the card on file will be automatically refunded the total booking amount.
Can someone else pick-up my dropped-off luggage items?
You are required to show proof of ID when picking-up and dropping-off your luggage. For purposes of insurance coverage and security the same individual must drop off pick-up the luggage items stored with our partners
What do I do if the partner storage location is closed when I arrive to drop-off my luggage items?
Your responsibilities are kept to a minimum for a convenient and worry-free trip. You are however responsible of ensuring to pick-up your items during the storage location hours of operation indicated on our website. If you have an issue or are running late to pick- up your items please refer to the booking confirmation email you received to contact the partner location on the number listed.
